What the extension does

Kanary Enter Guard is a Chrome extension that prevents web apps from treating Enter as a send action while IME composition is still active, and can optionally remap Enter to insert a newline and ⌘Enter / Ctrl+Enter to send on supported chat sites.

Data collected

• No personal data is collected
• No typing content is transmitted to any remote server
• The extension stores only its settings: the selected guard mode (off, standard, or aggressive), the send-key preference, and its site-class scopes, using Chrome storage

How data is stored

Settings are stored locally using Chrome's storage.sync API so the preferences can follow the signed-in browser profile.

Network access

The extension does not make network requests and does not require external accounts.

Data sharing

No user data is sold, transferred, or shared with third parties.
